Flirc Computer Cases FL-70462 Editorial Review
The Flirc case is a well made, top of the line case that functions well and looks great. The aluminum body acts as a heat sink for the Raspberry Pi's CPU. The case is easy to assemble, compact and has a nice finish. However, it may not be suitable for those who are pushing their system hard and require sustained load. It does not come with a fan and the case gets very hot. There is a thermal pad for some components, but none for the CPU. Removing the plastic covering off the heat transfer foam is important for the case to work effectively. Some customers have encountered issues with the rubberized coating degrading into a sticky mess, and the case not supporting a small PoE hat. Overall, the Flirc case is highly recommended if you are not pushing your system too hard.
