Answer: This does dry just like paint. Worth a try! It sounds fun and unusual. It may need a couple of coats, but it probably won't need sealing. -

Answer: I would suggest making a gray icing and using luster dust or silver edible spray instead. -

Answer: It covers dozens and dozens of cookies. I use a paint brush to brush over the RI icing. I have had my bottle forever, and there is still plenty left in it. -

Answer: It's pretty fluid. I've never used it on buttercream. If you used a crusting buttercream, you could airbrush it on. Painting with it may melt the buttercream or it may bleed into areas you don't want it.
