Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: What is the thickness of the Golden State Art backing boards?

Answer: The Golden State Art backing boards feature a 4-ply thickness, providing robust support for your photos, pictures, and prints. This thickness ensures that your artwork remains flat and rigid, protecting it from bending or warping over time. Moreover, the sturdy construction is ideal for framing projects or displaying your work, making these boards a reliable choice for artists and crafters alike.
  • Question: Are these backing boards acid-free and safe for archival purposes?

Answer: Yes, the Golden State Art backing boards are designed to be acid-free, making them a great option for archival use. Acid-free materials prevent yellowing and degradation, ensuring that your photographs and artwork are preserved in their best condition over time. This quality is particularly important for artists and curators who want to maintain the integrity of their pieces when framing or displaying.
  • Question: Can I use these backing boards with any size frames?

Answer: These backing boards are specifically sized at 11x14 inches, which makes them compatible with frames designed for that size. They are perfect for standard-sized artwork prints and photographs, allowing you to create a polished, professional look. If your artwork is smaller, you can easily trim the boards to fit, providing flexibility for various framing options.
  • Question: How many backing boards are included in a pack?

Answer: Each pack of Golden State Art backing boards includes 100 individual boards. This bulk quantity is perfect for artists, photographers, or anyone who frequently frames or displays artwork. Having a large supply on hand means you're always prepared for your next project, whether that's creating unique gifts, selling your art, or personal home decoration.
  • Question: Are these backing boards suitable for high-temperature environments?

Answer: These backing boards are made from durable materials that can withstand varying temperature conditions. While they will maintain their quality in a typical indoor environment, it's advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or humidity, which can harm the boards over time. For best results, store and display your framed pieces in climate-controlled areas to preserve their condition.
  • Question: Is the surface of the backing boards suitable for signatures?

Answer: Absolutely! The surface of the Golden State Art backing boards is signature-friendly, making them ideal for artists who want to sign their work directly on the backing. This feature enhances the presentation of your artwork and adds a personal touch, making it a great option for custom pieces or art displays where you want to showcase authenticity.
  • Question: What kind of projects are ideal for these backing boards?

Answer: These backing boards are versatile and can be utilized for various projects, including framing photographs, prints, and original artwork. They are perfect for crafters looking to create photo collages, scrapbook presentations, or artistic displays for galleries. Their sturdy construction provides a professional finish, making them suitable for both personal and commercial use.
  • Question: Can I use these backing boards for mounting canvas prints?

Answer: The 4-ply thickness of the Golden State Art backing boards is primarily suited for paper prints and photographs, rather than canvas prints. However, if you have smaller canvas artworks or panels that require support, you may use these boards as backing for added rigidity. It's essential to ensure that the size aligns properly for optimal results.
  • Question: How do I cut these backing boards if I need a different size?

Answer: Cutting the Golden State Art backing boards is straightforward with the right tools. Use a sharp utility knife and a straight edge to ensure clean cuts. Measure the desired size carefully, and line up your straight edge for guidance. This method allows you to customize boards for various projects without compromising the quality of the material.
  • Question: Where can I buy Golden State Art, Pack of 100, 11x14 White Backing Boards?

Answer: You can purchase the Golden State Art, Pack of 100, 11x14 White Backing Boards from Ubuy in Tajikistan. Ubuy provides a convenient online shopping experience, ensuring that you can easily find and order these premium backing boards for all your framing needs.
