    Answer: The Quick Connect plugs support 2-4 gauge cable.

    Answer: The plugs can only interconnect with any WARN connector of the same size.

    Answer: The capacity is 175 amps and is recommended for winches over 6,000 lbs.

    Answer: I have black plastic inserts with a small cable that came with a kit, but the separate connectors did not come with a cover. They sell covers separately for around $12 or $14 each. However, they are not as good as the ones that come in the kit. Alternatively, you can buy HYCLAT 2-4 GAUGE Battery Quick Connect/Disconnect Wire Harness Plug Connector Recovery Winch Trailer, which have covers and are cheaper.
  • Question: Is the one set a male and female plug?

    Answer: Yes, they will plug into each other so they are both male and female.
  • Question: Does this item include everything shown in the picture?

    Answer: Yes.
  • Question: What size crimper tool does this require?

    Answer: I'm not sure of the size as I got this many years ago and can't remember.
  • Question: Are these the same size/style as the Warn version? Or will they work with them?

    Answer: These are the Warn version.
  • Question: If these connectors are for winches over 6,000 lbs., why are they only rated for 175 amps?

    Answer: I apologize, but I only use my connectors for non-winch purposes. I have a 16 foot jumper cable which I cut at about 13 feet and added connectors. I also used a connector to attach to my 50 gallon barrel pump. So now I have 2 uses for the connectors. They were relatively easy to install but you need a strong soldering iron to solder, especially the 10 gauge jumper cables.
  • Question: By two sets, does this mean two males and two female ends?

    Answer: There are two connectors that fit into one another. It comes with four terminal ends and two plastic housings.
  • Question: Is there a number on these connectors?

    Answer: Number 22681 is rated at 50 Amps and fits #2 - #4 gauge wire. Number 22680 is rated at 175 Amps and fits #2 gauge wire. These connectors are not interchangeable.
  • Question: Do these connectors work with Anderson Powerpole Connector SB175?

    Answer: Yes, they do. I believe the Warn connectors are made by Anderson. They look identical in every way.
