It is worth noting that it cannot tone through splitters, but it does offer an audible tone that may tone through some splitters. The tool generates a tone only, and a tone receiver is not included. It is easy to use and works great on mapping cable, testing for ingress and capping lines. However, some users have reported that its quality is inConsistent, with some tools not working correctly out of the box. The belt clip may also be unsecured. Nonetheless, all in all, this is an exceptional and indispensable tool for any cable tech and DIY enthusiast.
