PFERD Accessories 17304 Editorial Review

**** Customers have expressed a generally positive experience with this portable vise designed for stabilizing saws while sharpening. Many reviewers praised its Construction and convenience, stating it effectively holds the saw in place, allowing for easier sharpening whether in a workshop or out in the field. The product's simple design has been highlighted, making it user-friendly and accessible, especially during outdoor use. One user noted a thoughtful improvement, replacing the traditional thumb screw with a lobed hand knob for effortless adjustability, enhancing the overall ease of use. However, some customers did point out that while the vise functions well, it doesn't boast the same build quality as competitors like Oregon. They mentioned that the materials such as the casting and screws feel less durable, suggesting that for a few dollars more, it might be worth investing in a higher quality option. Nevertheless, for those seeking a reliable and affordable solution for sharpening chainsaws, this vise appears to meet the essential needs effectively, making it a viable choice for casual users and professionals alike. **
