It provides a glimpse of some original non-anime, non-light novel Maou and Gang adventures with great world and character building. However, the story and events seem more like a slice-of-life filler at times. There are some foreshadowing hints given in the book that begin in light novels #8 and #10. The characters are portrayed well and their actions and relationships are explored with some insight into farming. The story ends on a cliffhanger.
