Start by pre-cleaning heavily soiled areas and then spray the product 6-8 inches away from the surface. Allow the solution to remain wet for 1 minute, and then either wipe the surface dry or let it air dry. It's important to follow the directions on the label and use the product in a manner consistent with its labeling.
