Emily Brontë Historical Romance Books Editorial Review
an interesting story told from the points of view of two narrator characters, and a cast of deeply flawed but captivating characters who grapple with love, obsession, and passion. Despite being criticised for its gloominess, the moor setting adds to the Gothic atmosphere, and a satisfying conclusion is reached through the characters' choices. Emily Bronte's graceful writing and insightful characterisations are impressive for a sheltered clergyman's daughter. This book is highly recommended.
