Italy Editorial Review
Leonardo da Vinci is a comprehensive biography by Walter Isaacson that dives deep into the life of the iconic Renaissance figure. The book explores not only Leonardo's famed contributions to art—like the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper—but also his groundbreaking work in science and engineering, showcasing his advanced understanding of perspective and anatomy. One of the fascinating aspects revealed in the book is how he utilized notebooks to record over 7,000 pages of observations, sketches, and processes, which became the foundation of his genius. Isaacson emphasizes that Leonardo's exceptional skills in curiosity and observation are qualities we can all aspire to develop in our own lives. This book is valuable for anyone looking to gain insights into the mind of a creative powerhouse and learn from his approach to knowledge.
