The Mineralab Mohs Hardness Test Kit is manufactured in Prescott, Arizona, and has been on the market since the mid 1960s. Although it is not designed to test carbon steel or differentiate phenacite from quartz, it is suitable for concrete testing, mineral identification and determining the hardness of a natural element.
