For normal listening levels i turn up the volume at about 10% in the Windows audio panel.So i do not think there is any need for headphone amp, unless you do not own some exotic 600 Ohm headphones.For speaker power amp there should be no issue.Other advice -> Use 24bit instead of 16bit output mode. It will give better signal to noice ratio.

Galaxy S7 with Android 6 has some issue (work when phone is put in Airplane mode), we are not sure about status for S5.
