It features 248 mm or 9 3/4" mounting holes and stamped flanges, which would need to be upgraded if flatness and balance is essential. The actual output hp is 1/2hp, which is slightly less than 3/4 hp and noticeably lower than Baldor, DeWalt, and Jet products. The grinder is suitable for removing initial casting scale on small scale bronze/silver jewelry pendants. The distance between the wheels is 12.125" center to center, and it can take up to a 1" wide wheel. The light is of good quality and bright enough to stay where it is aimed, and the machine assembles easily and quickly.
