TrueNAS Core software is enterprise class and provides many features present in storage solutions that cost hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, including support for iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and even S3. The underlying ZFS filesystem offers the ability to make snapshots of datasets and has options for reverting or cloning snapshots to a new dataset. The 2.5'' drive bays were not connected and required the user to take off the sides, clip the wire ties and connect the power supply to the board, something that happens often enough.
