Boston Harbor Desk Lamps Editorial Review
The desk lamp in question is a black, flexible lamp that needs to be plugged in. The shade is made of metal and has an opening 4 1/2 inches wide and is 5 1/2 inches deep. The diameter of the base is 5.5 inches. The height of the lamp is around 12 to 14 inches. It uses A-shape medium base bulbs up to 60 watts such as Phillips Mini Twister 13 watt (822178) and Phillips 11 Watt LED (823698). The base is weighted to make it stable so that it doesn't tip over easily. However, one customer reported that the on and off switch was not working properly. Additionally, the lamp does not come with a bulb and one customer reported incorrectly believing that it was battery powered. Overall, it is well reviewed as being a good desk lamp, perfect for studying or close-up work in a small defined area.
