The PureSec 14 quick connect Water Flow Restrictor has received mixed reviews from customers. Though some reviewers had found the product perfectly suitable, others had issues with the flow rate of the device. While the stated flow rate is 800ml, some customers found that it did not slow down enough to meet this specification, leading to the RO to waste ratio being too high. However, one customer did mention that it helped solve their low-pressure issues and allowed them to make a decent amount of water. Another customer had found it loud, whereas another customer had found it to work perfectly as advertised. The product comes with an arrow embossed on its plastic to indicate the direction of flow. It is recommended for use with a 100gpd membrane and works best at standard 40 psi.
