  • Jeffers Equine Thrush Away is a topical hoof treatment formulated for the prevention & treatment of thrush in horses. Designed for use on the frog & collateral grooves, this equine hoof care solution helps maintain healthy hooves in both wet and dry conditions. The single application formula contains P.V.P. Iodine Complex and Gentian Violet and may also be applied under hoof pads as part of a regular hoof care routine. Suitable for horses & other equine animals, this horse hoof treatment is a practical addition to horse care supplies, barn essentials, stable & ranch supplies, farrier equipment, & equestrian grooming kits. For safe hoof care practices, use a hoof pick and a hoof cleaning brush to remove mud, manure, stones, and debris before applying the treatment. Regular hoof maintenance is especially important during summer & other seasons when hooves may be exposed to moisture, mud, or changing environmental conditions. Each 2 oz bottle provides up to a 3 month supply when used once every two weeks as part of a preventative hoof care routine. Made in the USA, It is is packaged in an easy to use bottle for convenient application and fits easily into grooming totes, tack boxes, or barn supply kits. Directions For treatment of thrush, apply once to all affected areas of the hoof. For preventative hoof care, apply once each week in wet environments or once every two weeks in dry environments. Apply directly to the frog and collateral grooves as directed. Active Ingredients: P.V.P. Iodine Complex 2% & Gentian Violet (Minimum 1%, Maximum 5%) Inactive Ingredients: Water, Isopropanol, Formalin Caution Contains iodine and may stain light-colored hooves, hair, tack, and clothing. Do not use if sensitivity to iodine is known. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. For external use only.
