Drama Editorial Review
Past Lives - BLURAY, Digital is a beautifully crafted drama that delves into the immigrant experience and the intricate web of human connections, directed by Celine Song. With a runtime of 1 hour and 57 minutes, this cinematic exploration features breathtaking cinematography that captures the contrasting landscapes of Seoul and New York City, enhancing the film's emotional depth. The performances by Greta Lee and Teo Yoo are both charismatic and deeply nuanced, bringing a sense of longing and nostalgia to their characters' complex journey. However, some viewers may feel that the film's pacing could lead to moments of disconnect, as it explores profound themes about identity and the paths not taken in life, yet it remains a poignant reflection on love and choices.
