However, nowhere is this product listed as HO which it most certainly is. I sent it back and payment was returned to my credit card. I know similar products are available in n-scale.

I assume you might be able to fine in ‘N’ scale; check with model railroading or possibly the UK; though they call their scales differently then US i.e. ‘HO’ US, is ‘HH’ in the UK but you should be able to find in whatever scale you use or a similar method of cleaning.
